PRIVATE CLIENT SERVICES
The Institute conducts independent research integrating archaeogenomics, genealogy, and demographic history. Work draws on the full continental and transatlantic archive — parish registers, civil records, crown surveys, estate records, ecclesiastical documentation, immigration and colonial-era records — alongside peer-reviewed ancient genome literature and direct interpretation of genetic data.
The following engagements are available to private clients.
FOCUSED RESEARCH PROJECT — $1,500
A single research question developed in full: a specific ancestor, a family line that has gone unresolved, or a DNA result requiring proper interpretation. Primary source archival work, full citations, and a written report delivered as PDF. Each report closes with a written narrative placing the findings in historical context. Two-week delivery.
EUROPEAN LINEAGE REPORT — $3,500
One family line traced as far back as the records permit, with full primary source citations at every step. Research draws on the full continental archive across the British Isles, Scandinavia, the Holy Roman Empire, France, Italy, Iberia, Poland-Lithuania, Hungary, the Balkans, and into Byzantine and Crusader-state records when lines reach that far. Reading capacity in Latin, German, the Scandinavian languages, Dutch, French, Italian, Hungarian, and the Slavic languages as the records require. The report closes with a written narrative situating the line in its historical context.
DNA INTERPRETATION REPORT — $1,500
Autosomal results, haplogroups, and ancient population matches read against published peer-reviewed ancient genome literature and interpreted in historical context. The report includes a written narrative explaining what the genetic evidence indicates regarding ancestral origins, migration history, and the populations represented in the data prior to modern national categories.
COMPREHENSIVE FAMILY DOCUMENTATION — $7,500
Multi-line research conducted simultaneously across the lines of interest, including the connections and convergences between them. Coverage extends across the European dynastic networks where applicable, and across the full range of American ancestry — colonial founding stock, 19th-century European arrivals, later immigration waves, and the regional populations descended from each. Academic-standard sourced report. The closing narrative integrates the European, American, and convergence findings into a single continuous account of the documented ancestry.
EXTENDED WRITE-UP — $500
For clients who want the report developed at greater length with broader contextualization and supporting literature.
HERITAGE BOOK — CUSTOM
A privately bound family reference volume, leather-bound, embossed, custom designed, and printed in a small private run for family use. Pricing determined after consultation based on scope.
EXTENDED ENGAGEMENTS
Larger and bespoke engagements — comprehensive family research, custom documentation projects, or work requiring sustained attention — are accepted on a case-by-case basis. Terms and pricing are determined directly with the client based on the scope of the project.
CONFIDENTIALITY
All work and client material is handled through end-to-end encrypted infrastructure. Privacy is the standard.
